02 November 2026
The provisional fixtures for the 2027 NoordVaal Plate division are known, setting the stage for what promises to be the most brutal and fiercely contested division in 2027. With powerhouse programs desperate to secure elite status, the race for the title and the ultimate prize of 2028 Cup promotion will be an absolute battleground.
At the heart of the 2027 season is Dr EG Jansen, a school looking to fight their way back into the top-tier NoordVaal Cup division. Their presence sets a massive target on their backs, but the road back to the top will be anything but easy. Contenders like Oos Moot, Transvalia, Wesvalia, and Zwartkop are all primed to prove they can match and beat the former Cup powerhouse.
Add dangerous programs like Kemptonpark, newly promoted Pietersburg, HTS Middelburg, and Montana into the mix, and there are simply no easy weekends on this calendar. Every single round represents a high-stakes hurdle where a single slip-up could derail championship ambitions.
The regular season concludes at the end of July, and from there, the season reaches its boiling point in August:
* 7 August 2027: Semi-finals
* 14 August 2027: Grand Final
For the eventual champion, the reward is immense: a trophy in the cabinet and a golden ticket to the premier division in 2028. For the rest, it’s back to the drawing board. One thing is certain: the 2027 NoordVaal Plate Division is going to be a classic.
