Middelburg Hoërskool has made a major statement of intent for their schoolboy rugby programme by officially signing former Springbok centre Lionel Mapoe to their coaching staff.
Mapoe joins the Middies management setup as an assistant coach, where he will work directly alongside current head coach Christiaan Gouws to sharpen the team's tactical edge.
