Vodacom Bulls' attack and backline coach, Neil de Bruin, confirmed that Springbok Canan Moodie is "edging closer to a return" and could feature in the match against Zebre Parma on 9 May 2026.
According to de Bruin Moodie "trained nicely" on Tuesday and is currently in a "good space" as he recovers from a hamstring injury sustained in mid-April.
De Bruin said that a final call on Moodie's availability will be made closer to the weekend, likely when the team is officially announced on Friday.
“Canan is such a versatile player for us, and you try to fit the right puzzle piece that you need for the game and get those combinations ready.”
“But it’s just about getting him fit first and then fitting him into the team wherever the team needs him.”
