Vodacom Bulls coach Johan Ackermann is going all in for this weekend’s Investec Champions Cup round of 16 fixture away to Glasgow on Saturday at 18:30pm (SA time).
His 33-man touring squad includes 14 Springboks who are blended with a range of experienced players and emerging talents like Cheswill Jooste and Reinhardt Ludwig.
“If we’re in the play-offs in the Champions Cup, we must give it a go. We will give it our best shot, and then we’ll take it from there,” said Ackermann. “Glasgow are in front of us this week, but we’ll need to be better than we were against Munster if we hope to win.”
The trip to Scotland precedes two Vodacom United Rugby Championship fixtures, both away, against the Dragons (April 17) and Scarlets (April 5) respectively.
The team departs for the UK this evening (Monday).
