
The Springbok Women SVNS once again showed great form in the first half against the USA, however, the USA upped the pace of play in the second half to secure a well-deserved 26-12 win at the HSBC SVNS Word Championship in Spain.
The USA opened the scoring with an intercept try to lead 07-00 after 2 minutes of play in the first half and scored a second try a minute later. With time running out, Ayanda Malinga crashed through the middle to outrun the USA defenders, cutting the USA lead to 14-07 at the halftime break.
With two minutes play in the second half, Byrhandre Dolf sped down the touchline to score a brilliant individual try. USA scored two more tries with great handling and interplay to secure a 26-12 lead
