Springbok Women Lost Third Match In A Row At HSBC SVNS World Championship In Bordeaux

 

The Springbok Women SVNS lost their third match in a row at Bordeaux, losing to Argentina 17-05. They will play in the 9th place semi-final later tonight.

Following an arm wrestle during the first seven minutes, Maria Tshiremba's speed was too much for Argentina’s defenders, scoring the first try of the match to edge the Springboks 05-00 into the lead; however, Argentina struck back immediately with a try to level the scores 05-05 at the halftime break.

Argentina took the lead with two great tries to lead 17-05 after five minutes of play in the second half to secure the win.
