The Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup return this weekend, with Round 3 taking place from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 January, and EPCR confirmed the teams of match officials who will take charge of the 42 Round 3 and 4 matches.
Once again, the officials were selected, based on performance, by a committee of selectors chaired by EPCR’s Head of Match Officials, Tony Spreadbury.
On the appointments, Spreadbury commented: “We are delighted with the high standards of officiating in the opening two rounds, with consistent application of guidance and laws and a commitment to safety, speed and space.
“The performances are reflected in the appointments for Rounds 3 and 4, and we look forward to seeing further consistency in the closing pool matches.”
