Blitzboks Remain Unbeaten Win Good Win Over Argentina

 

The Blitzboks secured a great 19-12 win over Argentina to remain unbeaten in Pool A at the HSBC SVNS Perth.

Following four minutes of play, Christie Grobbelaar scored a great try for the Blitzboks, which was converted by Ricardo Duarttee to give the Blitzboks a 07-00 lead.

Argentina replied almost immediately with a try by Marcos Moneta, which was converted by Pedro De Haro to level the scores.

The Blitzboks attacked from the kickoff, and a brilliant step by Zain Davids put him in space to score the Blitzboks second try with time up in the first half. The Blitzboks led 14-07 going into the second half.

Argentina attacked from within their own in-goal area, and with tired bodies lying all over, Santino Zangara ran the length of the field to score Argentina’s second try. With four minutes to play, the Blitzboks led 14-12.

The Blitzboks’ Donovan Don stepped past several defenders and scored following a brilliant seventy-five-meter run. to extend the Blitzboks' lead to 19-12.

With time running out, the Blitzboks had to defend for their life; they hung on to remain unbeaten with a 19-12 win.

The Blitzboks will play the unbeaten Fiji today at 12:52 (SA Time).
