The Lions confirmed their signing of Springbok loosehead prop Boan Venter, who is currently playing for Edinburgh Rugby until June 2026. Venter made his first appearance for the Springboks against Georgia in Nelspruit, early in 2025 and has represented the Springboks in seven more tests since.
