Kingswood College and Graeme College have officially re-established their cultural and sporting ties, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at restoring trust and collaboration between the two historic institutions.
Graeme College accused Kingswood of “aggressive” recruitment tactics, including offering reduced fees to Graeme learners to encourage transfers. In response, Graeme suspended all inter-school activities, including sports and cultural exchanges.
The newly signed MoU outlines a transparent framework for learner transfers, emphasising professionalism, mutual respect, and institutional integrity. It also signals a renewed commitment to joint cultural and sporting events in 2026, a tradition cherished by students, alumni, and families alike.
This reconciliation not only restores key inter-school activities but also reinforces the importance of collaborative values in education, especially in a town where school spirit and shared history run deep.
