The Vodacom Bulls now shift their focus back to the Investec Champions Cup, where head coach Johan Ackermann says there will be no holding back in their next two Investec Champions Cup matches: against the Bristol Bears at home on January 10 and away against Section Paloise (Pau) on January 16.
The matches are crucial for the Bulls' playoff hopes, as they are currently near the bottom of Pool 4.
“We’re going full out with the strongest possible team for the next two games. If we lose, we’re out. If we win, we’re in the playoffs, it’s simple.”
“This next block is about getting everyone on the same page, building cohesion, and turning our season around.”
Ackermann emphasised the need for improvement, stating, "People want results, and that's what we need to deliver. The effort is there; now we need to turn pressure into points.”
