
Hoërskool Waterkloof confirmed that Dillon Smit was appointed as rugby scout and marketer. Smit was the head coach of Waterkloof's U16A team and the Blue Bulls Academy Week in 2025.
Smit's professional career began in 2013 with the Border Bulldogs, followed by stints with the Leopards and the Lions in South Africa, and most recently played as a scrum-half for the Houston SaberCats in Major League Rugby (MLR) during 2022-2023.
