Disappointing Blitzboks Lost To Fiji In Bordeaux

Despite losing 15-07 to Fiji, the Blitzboks qualified for the Top 8 playoffs in Bordeaux, and will face Fiji again at 15:52 (SA Time) later today.

An early yellow card to Siviwe Soyizwapi allowed Fiji to use the extra space and score the first try of the match to lead 05-00 with 3 minutes to play in the first half. Following great work by Tristan Leyds, Shilton van Wyk scored an “easy” try to lead 07-05 and a minute to play in the first half; however, Fiji scored a late try to lead 10-07 at the halftime break.
