The Blue Bulls U18 Craven Week coach, Braam Pretorius, is facing a difficult period at the 2026 Craven Week, to be hosted at Grey High in two weeks, after losing a third player who was a credible candidate to be included in the SA Schools teams to be announced at the tournament.
It was confirmed that the star Garsfontein winger Yuvrah George will miss the Craven Week following an injury. He will be replaced by Zwartkop’s Tilon Baron, who was originally included in the U18 Academy Week squad as a scrumhalf.
It was previously confirmed that the SA Schools favourites, Thabiso Simulane (St Alban's College), who represented the SA Schools' side in 2025, and Fourie Roberts (Affies), have also been ruled out.
