Blitzboks Lost To France 7s In Semi-final At HSBC SVNS Bordeaux

 

The Blitzboks lost to France 21-12 in the semi-final of the HSBC SVNS Bourdeax and will face the loser between New Zealand and Spain at 16:32 (SATime).

France pounced on a spilt ball by the Blitzboks to open the scoring after four minutes of play. France led 07-00. A minute later, the Blitzboks attacked from their 22m, and eventually it was Tristan Leyds who scored in the corner to cut France’s lead and level the scores 07-07.

France took an early lead in the second half with two tries, extending their lead 21-07 after four minutes of play in the second half. With two minutes to play, Donovan Don scored a long-distance try to cut France’s lead to 21-12, which was the final score.
