Day 2 of the 2026 U18 LSEN Craven Week delivered intense, high-stakes schoolboy rugby at the Baysville School of Skills, highlighted by defensive slugfests and dominant shutouts that finalised the tournament’s main matchups.
Western Province 19-13 Blue Bulls
In the final match, Western Province booked their place in the unofficial final by narrowly outlasting the Blue Bulls. The Bulls, coming off a massive Day 1 blowout win, brought heavy physical pressure, but Western Province stayed disciplined.
Eastern Province 31-00 Boland
The defending champions, Eastern Province, continued their march toward a historic three-peat with a clinical defensive masterclass against Boland. Having put up 71 points on Day 1, EP demonstrated they possess a championship-calibre defence to match their lightning-fast offence.
