The annual tournament for Learners with Special Education Needs (LSEN) kicked off on June 26, 2026, hosted by the Baysville School of Skills in East London.
Eastern Province enters the 2026 U18 LSEN Craven Week seeking their third consecutive unofficial title. They won back-to-back titles in 2024 (17-7) and 2025 (11-10), edging out Western Province in both finals.
Eastern Province started the defence of their title with a dominating 78-00 win over the Leopards, issuing an early warning to other title hopefuls.
Western Province and Blue Bulls are looking like the primary threats to deny Eastern Province a hat-trick. The Blue Bulls beat the Pumas 59-00 while the two years’ runner-ups Western Province beat SWD 52-00.
