Springbok Women SVNS Going Down Fighting Against France 7s In Bordeaux

 

Despite a brilliant effort on the defence, the Springbok Women SVNS lost 22-07 to France in their first Pool A match in Bordeaux.

France dominated from the outset but could only score their first try after 4 minutes of play in the first half to lead 05-00. The Springboks struck back when Maria Tshiremba powered through tackles down the touchline to score the Springboks’ first try. Byrhandre Dolf converted the try to edge the Springboks 07-05 after seven minutes of play in the first half. However, with time up on the clock, France scored their second try to lead 10-07 going into the second half.

France scored two tries in the second half to secure a 22-07 win against the Springbok Women SVNS.
