In the main event, Stellenberg High School hosts Wynberg Boys' High School today, 1 May 2026, in a highly anticipated rugby clash. Stellenberg enters the match as one of the form teams in South Africa following landmark victories over Paarl Gim, Grey College, and Paul Roos earlier this season.
Stellenberg are facing a gruelling schedule, with this being their third match in just one week after playing on Saturday and Monday. Their performance at the Wildeklawer Sports Festival was not their best, beating Maritzburg College (24-19) and Diamantveld (31-20).
Wynberg come into this fixture significantly fresher, having had a full fortnight to prepare since their last match against Paarl Boishaai (09-20). They will look to capitalise on any fatigue in the Stellenberg ranks to pull off an upset in Bellville.
However, if Wynberg wins, we all need to prepare for the worst, as the world we know is already shaken and stirred by Stellenberg.
