The Hollywoodbets Sharks confirmed that scrumhalf Grant Williams will leave the Durban-based franchise to join a Japanese club following the end of his contract in June 2026.
Williams is heavily linked with a move to the Yokohama Canon Eagles in Japan Rugby League One, as the primary replacement for fellow Springbok scrum-half Faf de Klerk, who is leaving the Yokohama Canon Eagles to join the Toyota Cheetahs in South Africa in June 2026.
