DHL Western Province U21 will end the first round of action in the SA Rugby Under-21 Cup with a clash against Toyota Cheetahs U21 in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
There are several changes to the team for the encounter at Toyota Stadium, which kicks off at 13:00 (SA Time) on Saturday.
Junior Springbok forwards Oliver Reid, Riley Norton, and Xola Nyali come into the starting line-up, while in the backline outside centre Grant de Jager returns after missing last week’s win in Potchefstroom due to an exam, and Eldridge Jack is at fullback, with Dylan Miller shifting to the wing.
Head Coach Johnno van der Walt said that his team are determined to end the opening round on a high and maintain their position at the top of the log.
“We have built some good momentum in recent weeks, and it will be crucial to keep that going as we head into a competition break.
“We have some good players coming into the mix this week, and we are keen to see how they go against a well-drilled Toyota Cheetahs side in Bloemfontein,” he said.
