Windhoek Draught Griquas To Good For Boys From Pretoria

Windhoek Draught Griquas returned to winning ways against a youthful Vodacom Bulls XV team who lost their way in the second half. A great win of 41-07 for the men from Kimberley after dominating in the second half..

The Bulls XV impressed early on with their forwards dominating the Griquas, however, although both teams did their best to get the game going the scoreboard remained quiet, while the big boys fought for dominance.

With ten minutes to go, it was still all even on the field as well as on the scoreboard. Two mistakes by the Bulls XV on their try-line gave Griquas the opportunity to add ten points with two unconverted tries to go into the second half with a 10-00 lead.

Griquas scored two great tries in the third quarter with the inexperience of the young Bulls side clear for all to see as they struggled to absorb the pressure from Griquas. The Griquas are at this stage in control of the match and led 24-00 after sixty minutes of play.

The last quarter of the match belonged to the Griquas who added twenty-one points to their score with some innovative play.
