It was decided earlier this week by the organisers of the Varsity Cup that the Varsity Cup, as well as the Varsity Shield, will take place in 2021. However, the Young Guns competition was cancelled for the 2021 season.
No official list of fixtures has been released as a final decision regarding the Covid19 protocols that will be required is still outstanding. SA Rugby has written to the Minister of Sport to approve the protocols.
A "provisional" fixture schedule has been "released" with Tukkies still the favourites to host the competition in a "bubble".
