New dates and kick-off times can now be confirmed for the re-scheduled South African derbies that were to take place in the opening round of the 2024/25 Vodacom United Rugby Championship. The Mzansi match-ups were moved to avoid a clash with the Carling Currie Cup Final.
Originally, the DHL Stormers were due to take on the Vodacom Bulls in Cape Town and the Hollywoodbets Sharks were to host the Emirates Lions in Durban on Saturday, September 21. These fixtures have been rescheduled to Saturday, February 8 and Saturday, March 8.
The DHL Stormers will host the Vodacom Bulls in Cape Town on Saturday, February 8 at 12.00 IRE & UK / 14.00 ITA & SA and the Hollywoodbets Sharks will welcome the Emirates Lions to Durban on Saturday, March 8 where kick-off time is 12.00 IRE & UK / 14.00 ITA & SA.
Both games will be live on SuperSport and Premier Sports.
