The fourth Ruggas.co.za draft proved how difficult it is to draft a squad of 23 players and three coaches if you do not follow schoolboy rugby properly. Our drafter started to struggle after the top 100 boys were drafted, after which their local teams and Craven Week were the preferred draft source.
I am sure that everybody that took part and followed the draft now realises that the work of the Franchise and varsity scouts is not as easy often claimed by the armchair selectors/scouts.
Our drafters' team of 2022 is compiled using the total sum of money the drafters offered for a player.
