The final matches in the NoordVaal Cup league games were played this weekend and the final standings on the NoordVaal Cup promotion/relegation log were decided.
However, it is important to take into account that the schools whose teams have reached the playoffs will still earn them valuable log points.
At 1stXV level, the teams that played in the semi-finals and final will earn one point for competing and four points for a win. The U16A, U15A, and U14A teams will earn one point for competing and three points for winning.
Therefore, with Transvalia not having one team that qualified for the semi-finals and Menlopark having two teams that will secure them an additional two points just for competing, Transvalia will be relegated to the Plate Division together with Nelspruit.
Following the weekend’s results in the NoordVaal Cup, the promotion/relegation log:
1. Garsfontein - 275,0
