Glasgow Warriors started like a house on fire when Scott Cummings stormed through the middle of the field. Following wave after wave of attacks, Sione Tuipulotu crashed through several tackles to score the first try of the match. Hastings added the extra two points to edge Glasgow Warriors 07-00 into the lead following five minutes of play in the first half.
Five minutes later, the Bulls replied with a scintillating try when Sebastian de Klerk fed Stravino Jacobs, who blitzed down the touchline for an easy try.
The remainder of the first half was an arm wrestle with Glasgow dominating possession and territory; however, as time was running out, the dominance by the Bulls at scrum time became overwhelming.
The Glasgow Warriors led 07-05 at the halftime break.
The Bulls started like a house on fire, and following some hard running by their big boys, a great pass by Embrose Papier put Willie le Roux in a gap to score under the poles. Johannes converted to secure a 12-07 lead after eight minutes of play in the second half.
Following a disallowed try to the Bulls, Glasgow attacked, and following wave after wave of attacks, Cardiff was awarded a penalty try following the collapse of a line-out maul by the Bulls. Cardiff led 14-12 following twenty-two minutes of play in the second half.
Cardiff continued to dominate, and once again, Cardiff used their big men to pick and go, and eventually, Nathan McBeth bulldozed his way over for Glasgow’s third try. Hastening converted to extend Glasgow’s lead to 21-12
