06 March 2027
Hoërskool Garsfontein has locked in a relentless 2027 rugby itinerary designed to test their elite depth and improve their national rankings.
The "Bere" enter the new campaign determined to scale the ladder after finishing 7th in the final 2026 Ruggas Rankings. The upcoming season structure shifts the focus entirely toward securing early cross-border scalps to fuel a serious rankings surge.
The season dynamic hinges entirely on the opening two months, where Garsfontein faces a brutal gauntlet of top-tier traditional powerhouses. Because the local NoordVaal Cup competition features several rebuilding programs with lower ranking points weightings, standard league victories will offer minimal rewards. A single mid-season slip-up could derail their entire campaign, placing immense pressure on the team to secure maximum points during their national festival appearances.
