The Noordvaal will host some of the most exciting matches this weekend in the country with the top teams facing each other on Saturday.
Affies will host Menlo Park for the first time since 2006. Affies 1stXV is one of the surprises of the year while Menlo Park is struggling to perform according to early-season expectations. Affies "should" win this match with relative ease, however, they are known to make it extremely difficult for themselves while we know that Menlo Park will be at their best, and some more on Saturday.
Pretoria Boys High will host St John's in Pretoria and this should be one of the more competitive matches of the weekend. St John's is struggling in 2022 while Pretoria Boys High has shown some glimpses of the brilliance the school is known for.
Garsfontein travels to Waterkloof in a similar position to Affies where everybody expects them to dominate the day, however, once again Garsfontein's performance the last few weeks did show some cracks and Waterkloof will be better than their best especially after their "shock" loss against EG Jansen a week ago.
Helpmekaar will host EG Jansen who is still unbeaten in the Noordvaal Cup competition. EG Jansen is currently on a four-match winning streak and Helpmekaar will have to be at their best to stop the march of the physical boys from Boksburg.
Noordheuwel should not sweat too much when they host Middelburg HTS while Middelburg should also win with relative ease against a struggling Ben Vorster who is still to win in the Noordvaal Shield competition.
