RG Snyman is set to play his 50th Test for the Springboks against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on November 22, 2025.
Snyman said it would be an honor to earn his 50th cap against Ireland, referring to it as playing at a "home" stadium because of his time with Irish clubs.
“It will be very special to play against Ireland, because it’s been such a big part of my career.”
“I have a lot of friends here. You always put in a little extra because you want their respect.”
Several setbacks, including two ACL ruptures, severe burns, and a chest injury, delayed Snyman from playing his 50th test for the Springboks.
“The injuries made me stronger. It was the hardest time of my life.”
“I’m stronger psychologically now. I’m desperate to wear the Bok jersey every week.”
“I’m taking it week by week. It would be incredible to play my 50th, because I missed so many Tests.”
