Paarl Gimnasium announced the appointment of Chris Rossouw as Technical Advisor and High-Performance Coach within the school's prestigious rugby programme.
The appointment creates an exciting family partnership in the school's coaching ranks; Chris is the younger brother of legendary former Springbok winger Pieter "Slaptjips" Rossouw, who is Paarl Gimnasium's 1st XV Head Coach.
Chris Rossouw brings a formidable combination of experience, strategic insight, and a deep-rooted commitment to his alma mater. As an accomplished coach with extensive experience in elite high-performance environments, including a successful tenure as backline and attack coach for the Vodacom Bulls, he is set to play a pivotal role in elevating the school's rugby structures, coaching methodologies, and player development pathways.
In his dual capacity, Rossouw will report directly to the Director of Rugby, former Junior Springbok coach Dawie Theron. He will collaborate closely with Theron, his brother Pieter, and the broader rugby management team.
