The Lions u/20s remain on the top of the competition log with 17 points while the Cell Sharks u/20s move into the second place on the log with 12 points, however, the Cell C Sharks do have one game in hand.
The Lions u/20s led 21-19 going into the second half and had to rely on penalties to keep them in the game as the well-known Cell C Sharks u/20s driving mauls added three tries during the match. The Lions u/20s winger Keagan Smith scored the equaliser with 9 minutes to play.
