The Leopards u/21 "saved" their season with a hard-fought win of 22-05 against the Toyota Cheetahs u/21 in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Both teams gave their all in the first half, however, the scoreboard did not move with both teams going into the second half all level at 00-00.
The second half saw the game opening up a lot with both backlines showing more than intent to run at their opponents. The Leopards u/21 scored four tries in the second half to one of their hosts.
Leopards u/21 winger Keano Windvogels was the visitors' hero who scored two great tries.
The Leopards u/21's kept their hopes alive to reach the SARU u/21 Cup semi-finals after opening their season with losses against the Lions u/21s and Vodacom Bulls u/21s.
