The Hollywoodbets Sharks secured a 54-19 win over Zebre Parma, scoring eight tries in their final match of the 2025/26 season.
Following a scrappy first fifteen minutes, Hollywood bets Sharks’ Jaco Williams crashed over in the corner with three defenders on his back to open the scoring.
However, five minutes later, Zebre attacked from a turnover ball in their 22m, and eventually it was Malik Faissal who scored under the poles following the halfhearted defence of the Sharks. Giovanni Montemauri converted to edge Zebre 07-05 into the lead.
A brilliant move between Ox Nche and Siya Kolisi allowed Kolisi to attack around the front of a 5m lineout and score the Sharks' second try. Vusi Moyo converted for the Sharks to retake the lead 12-07 after 27 minutes of play in the first half.
Thereafter, Zekhethelo Siyaya cut the defence of Zebre in two to score the Sharks' third try. Moyo converted to extend the Sharks' lead to 19-07, with 8 minutes still to play in the first half.
With time up on the clock, the Sharks scored off the back of a 5m lineout maul. Siya Kolisi scored his second try of the day. Moyo converted, and the Sharks are going into the second half with a 26-07 lead.
The Sharks continued their dominance of the first half, and following 7 minutes of play in the second half, Vusi Moyo scored the Sharks' fifth try. He also converted his try to increase the Sharks' lead to 33-07.
Despite a try by Zebre after 24 minutes of play, the Sharks continued to score tries at regular intervals. Emmanuel Tshituka first crashed over after 14 minutes of play in the second half, which was followed by tries from Le-Roux Malan and Ross Braude to lead 54-14.
With 4 minutes to play Giovanni Quattrini scored a consolation try to cut the Sharks’ lead to 54-19, which was also the final score.
