It was confirmed that Glenwood High School has turned down a request from Durban High School to renew their interschool fixtures in 2026.
The last time Glenwood and DHS met was in 2019 when Glenwood won 59-19 at DHS. They did not play each other during the COVID-19 years in 2020 and 2021, after which the fixtures between the two top schools were cancelled.
The reason for the cancellation of the interschools could not be confirmed.
