England U20 Men’s head coach Mark Mapletoft and assistant coach Andy Titterrell have selected their 30-player squad for the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy.
The reigning champions open their tournament against Scotland on Sunday, 29 June in Verona after successive wins against Wales (47-14) and Georgia (43-14) in recent uncapped preparation fixtures.
Newcastle Falcons’ Ben Redshaw and Tom Burrow of Sale Sharks are the confirmed co-captains for the U20 Men. Redshaw captained the side for the first time in Pontypool this month, whilst Burrow led the team in the 2025 U20 Six Nations.
Redshaw, alongside Josh Bellamy, Jack Bracken, Ben Coen, Kane James, Junior Kpoku, Vilikesa Sela and Olamide Sodeke, returns for their second World Championship.
Alfie Longstaff, Seb Kelly, Noah Caluori, Asa Stewart-Harris, Will Knight, Ollie Streeter and Sam Williams make up the six uncapped players in the squad, all having played in the uncapped friendlies.
