Stade Toulousain scrum-half Antoine Dupont reveals he could be back in time for this season's Investec Champions Cup.
Dupont's been out since France's Six Nations win over Ireland last March.
Dupont ruptured the cruciate ligaments in his knee, sidelining him from the action for months.
But there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for the scrum-half.
"It's going well, but it's still been a long one", he said.
"It's the second time I've done my cruciate ligaments, so I'd rather be patient with it and do everything right to be able to come back stronger".
He went on to reveal a possible date for when fans can expect to see him back on the field:
"End of November or early December, but it won't be before then", he explained.
Club side Stade Toulousain's opening Investec Champions Cup game is against the Hollywoodbets Sharks on December 7.
Provided that everything follows its course, Dupont's return could be perfectly timed for the six-time champions.
