Duncan Matthews will join the Emirates Lions in Australia before their third match next weekend on tour as cover for Jamba Ulengo who suffered a severe quad contusion while Wandisile Simelane has a grade 1 MCL tear in his right knee.
It is expected that Simelane will be ready for the Highlanders but Ulengo will have to pass a fitness test later this week before a final call will be made on his availability.
The Emirates Lions will play against the Blues (05:25 South African Time) Saturday coming.
