The Leopards, Griffons, Golden Lions and Blue Bulls recorded big wins on day two of the SA Rugby U18 Craven Week at Outeniqua Park in George.
U18 Craven Week Day Two Fixtures:
Blue Bulls 40-05 Border
Border scored the first try of a brilliant 5m lineout maul. They kept the pressure on the Blue Bulls but unfortunately could not add to their points for the rest of the half. The Blue Bulls started to claw their way back into the match and scored two tries from driving mauls in the corner to lead 14-05 at the halftime break. The Blue Bulls scored their first try after three minutes of play in the second half. The Blue Bulls quickly stretched their lead to 33-05 whereafter the match lost all of its sparkle. A late try by the Bulls stretched their lead to 40-05 40-05 which was the winning score.

Golden Lions 55-29 Pumas
The wet conditions did not make it easy for both teams. The Golden Lions with their bigger forwards dominated and secured a 29-10 at halftime with the Lions threatening to run away with the game. The Pumas tried to play a structured match and although they manage to slow the Bulls down initially the Bulls stretched their lead to 55-29 at the end of the match.

Griffons 43-22 Limpopo Blue Bulls
The Limpopo Bulls started the first half like a house on fire and led 17-10 at the halftime break. The Griffons were the dominant side in the second half and outscored the Limpopo Bulls four tries, which included a penalty try, to one. The Griffons cruised to a surprisingly easy 43-22 win.

Griquas 07-46 Leopards
The Leopards used their dominant forwards and scored their first try of the half after just a few minutes of play in the first half. Although the halftime score was only 13-07 in favour of the Leopards they dominated for most of the first half. The Leopards scored two early tries in the second half whereafter it became one-way traffic. The Leopards scored seven tries to the one of Griquas.
