The Blitzboks played Fiji 7's in the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens on Sunday morning and narrowly lost 10-07 in a close and entertaining match.
The Blitzboks were first on the board with a great worked try by Shaun Williams to lead 07-00 after four minutes of play.
Fiji replied immediately with a try of their own to go into the second half trailing 05-07. After a tense ten minutes of play Fiji secured their place in the semi-finals with a second try to win 10-07.
The Blitzboks will play the USA 7's at 08:20 (SA Time) in the 5th-place Semi-final
