Boland wasted no time reasserting their authority in the second half. Just six minutes after the restart, the Cavaliers spread the ball wide from a five-metre lineout. The decisive bonus-point try arrived 10 minutes later. A sweeping, all-player attack ran the Stormers' defence to pieces, allowing Bantom to cross the whitewash himself. His score extended Boland's commanding lead to 27-03 after 16 minutes of second-half action.
With the Cavaliers running amok, another sequence of brilliant hands put the unstoppable Bantom over in the corner for his second try, which he converted to make it 34-03.
Four minutes before the final whistle, Bantom put the icing on the cake. Showing incredible pace, he burst through to complete his hat-trick and slot the conversion.
