It was a dominant display by the All Blacks in the first half of the match. The All Blacks bullied the visitors with direct and aggressive play. Argentina did not see much of the ball and had to defend for the bulk of the first half. This was a brilliant display of rugby by the hosts who are in complete control. The All Blacks led by 24-03 after forty minutes of play.
Apart from an odd ten minutes in the third quarter, it was the All Blacks that continued their dominance and scored a bonus-point win against Argentina with 53-03.
