The SA Schools Rugby Association released a statement dated 30 July 2021 in anticipation of the release of the DBE government gazette, which will allow all school sports to resume with immediate effect.

SASRA confirmed that the following return to play protocols will be expected to be complied with,. The principal of each school will be responsible for the monitoring of their school's adherence to safety and return to play protocols.
