The Varsity Cup again showed that the abundance of talent in South African rugby is absolutely mind-boggling. The Ruggas.co.za panel discussed all the games and ended up with a list of 40 - 50 names who can all claim a spot in our matchday 23.
The forwards are dominated by the 2021 Champions, Tukkies but several players need to be acknowledged for their efforts. Players who did not make our final 23 but still deserved a place is, Liam Greenhalgh (UCT), Derrick Pretorius CUT, Janu Botha (CUT), Hendrik Luus (US), Ruben du Plessis (NWU).
