Loftus Versfeld is buzzing with reports of a coaching and management overhaul. Insiders suggest a major tactical shift is underway as the Pretoria-based franchise looks to lock down its coaching structures.
The biggest talking point is the rumoured return of veteran tactician Pote Human to take the reins as Currie Cup head coach. A private farewell was held on Thursday, where Boland head coach Hawies Fourie thanked the former loose forward for his grit over the past two campaigns as assistant coach in Wellington.
Incumbent Currie Cup head coach Phiwe Nomlomo is to serve as assistant coach under the guidance of Human.
It is also rumoured that Ofentse Moeng, who is part of the coaching team at the Vodacom Bulls U20 as assistant coach, is tipped to step in as the official team manager for the senior Vodacom Bulls team. Moeng will replace Eugene Hare, the former long-serving BBRU General Manager who has been filling the role as interim team manager.
