Continuity Key for Suzuki Griquas Ahead of Hollywoodbets Sharks XV Clash in Kimberley

Suzuki Griquas head coach Pieter Bergh has opted for continuity while making a few tactical adjustments to his starting XV for Friday’s highly anticipated Carling Currie Cup Premier Division encounter against the Hollywoodbets Sharks XV in Kimberley at 17:05 SAST.

Coach Bergh has kept the lethal backline completely unchanged, backing the same combination that carved open the Lions last weekend. However, the pack and the bench see a few notable rotations..

Up front, Janus Venter gets the nod at hooker, swapping roles with Tiaan Lange, who moves to the replacement bench. Marco de Witt is promoted to the starting lineup at blindside flanker (#7). Carel van der Merwe shifts to openside flanker (#6), replacing Lourens Oosthuizen.

On the bench, Liam Koen comes onto the bench wearing the #22 jersey, while the versatile Sako Makata shifts to #23.
