The Toyota Cheetahs are heading to Kimberley this Friday to clash with rivals Suzuki Griquas in a highly anticipated central South African derby. The Carling Currie Cup Round 3 encounter kicks off at 19:00 SAST at the Suzuki Stadium in Kimberley.
Head coach Frans Steyn has opted for a complete overhaul of his backline following last week's victory over the Sharks. In total, five changes have been made to the starting backline.
Looking ahead to their first road trip of the competition, head coach Frans Steyn stressed the importance of returning to the squad's foundations.
"This is our first away game, and it will be tough," Steyn remarked. "We have a plan, and hopefully the one we have in place will work for us. There is opportunity for us."
