The Toyota Cheetahs announced several important contract renewals that will provide continuity and stability within the squad for the seasons ahead.
The following Toyota Cheetahs players have extended their contracts.
Loose forward Sisonke Vumazonke has committed until 2029. A powerful and dynamic member of the pack, Vumazonke has become an important contributor through his physicality, work rate and consistency.
Loosehead prop Matome "Dux" Manyama has extended his stay until 2028. The strong scrummager continues to establish himself as a key member of the front row.
Hooker Marko Janse van Rensburg remains part of the Toyota Cheetahs setup after extending his contract. His experience and reliability at set-piece time make him a valuable member of the squad.
Fullback Shaun Ray has also recommitted. A skilful and exciting attacking player, Ray continues to offer creativity and versatility from the backfield.
Loose forward Mihlali Mosi has earned a contract extension following his continued development and contribution to the team environment.
Prop Aranos Coetzee remains with the Toyota Cheetahs, adding important depth and experience to the front row.
Outside back Munier Hartzenberg has signed on until 2028. His pace, finishing ability and versatility make him an important asset in the backline.
Scrumhalf Marco Jansen van Vuren continues his journey with the Toyota Cheetahs after extending his contract through to 2028. He remains an influential figure in directing play and maintaining tempo.
Prop John Kelly Okonkwo has also renewed his contract, continuing his development within the Toyota Cheetahs system.
Loose forward Gideon van der Merwe remains part of the squad, bringing energy and commitment to the forward pack.
Wing Prince Nkabinde has extended his stay, ensuring further continuity among the outside backs.
Versatile back Cohen Jasper continues with the Toyota Cheetahs after signing a new contract. His ability to cover multiple positions provides valuable flexibility to the coaching staff.
Forward Pierre Raymond Uys has also recommitted to the union. Equally comfortable at lock and loose forward, Uys adds versatility and physical presence to the pack.
Free State Rugby also confirmed that Pieter Janse van Vuuren, George Lourens, Banie Brits, James Verity-Amm, Franco Smith and Thabang Mhalasi will all be moving on from the Toyota Cheetahs.
