Fidelity Securedrive Lions To Stay In Dublin And Waiting For Several Injury Updates

 

It was confirmed that the e Fidelity SecureDrive Lions will be based in Dublin up until their quarter-final match against Leinster on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

Centre Henco van Wyk (ankle) and captain Francke Horn (hamstring) will undergo scans tomorrow in Ireland to assess the severity of the injuries. A decision on their availability will be made thereafter, while Ruan Venter will be assessed this week to determine the severity of his knee injury.

Scrumhalf Morne van den Berg sustained a bicep injury and, as a result is back in SA for treatment.
