
The Blitzboks secured their place against Spain at 15:06 (SA Time) in the fifth-place final following a great win over Great Britain.
Brilliant work by Donovan Don down the touchline put Shilton van Wyk in space with a great pass to open the scoring. Following four minutes of play, Donovan Donn added his name to the scoresheet to extend the Blitzboks' lead to 10-00.
Hard running by Shilton van Wyk resulted in him scoring his second of the match. Tristan Leyds converted to extend the Blitzboks' lead to 17-00 with five minutes still to play. Tristan Leyds, Mfundo Ndhlovu and Zander Reynders scored the Blitzboks' final tries to secure a 34-00 win.
